It expanded and developed during the 18<sup>th<\/sup> century acquiring its final form which it maintains today. Up until 1920 it was named <strong>&#8220;Sopotseli&#8221;<\/strong>, translated from the Slavic, meaning &#8220;place with ample water&#8221;.
